YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

One of the fundamental objectives of AFCDJS is education.  In addition to the annual jazz camp for adults and monthly workshops for musicians of all ages, the society awards partial and full scholarships to a youth jazz camps held each summer.  One example is the Teagraden Youth Jazz Camp held in Sacramento.

Students in the San Diego City Schools as well as those throughout San Diego County, can apply for full or partial scholarships.  Students should submit the scholarship application for scholorship (click below) along with a copy of the jazz camp application to AFCDJS address or email below.
